About

Crystaldrops.co.uk was bought on the 3rd of April 2006, when I was 10 years old (I was 11 that year). The actual making of the site began months before, and my site was made with good old iFrames! I had been learning HTML since I was about 7 or 8, and I had a couple of sites before hosted on Geocities, then Freewebs, with a few Piczo sites inbetween. My first ever site is still up. You can view it here if you like!

My HTML was mainly learnt from Lissa Explains It All which is pretty cool actually. Dynamic Drive and CSS Play have also been helpful.

I have no idea why I called the site Crystaldrops, and if I were to choose a site name now, I doubt it would be called that. I was 10 years old with no imagination and wanted to have a site exactly the same as everybody elses. I looked around for insparation when Crystaldrops just popped into my head, and it stuck! I was actually wanting something with Dollie in it.

I've lived with computers for as far as I can remember, but only became interested in Dollie and Graphic sites when I came across Dollidol, a MSN avatar creator site which used dolls, now called MsnDollz.com. I loved the dolls used on it, and soon found the first doll sites I ever came across: Cute Huggelz, Angel Kizz, Easy Doll and Rainbow Bright. Gradually my HTML knowledge improved, and has brought me where I am today!
